The subject was baseball when Joe Garagiola (from left), Tim McCarver, Marv Throneberry and Bud Harrelson got together at the Holiday Inn Rivermont on Oct. 22, 1969.
The above photo, features two Memphians who played in the majors. Tim McCarver (CBHS) played for St Louis & Philly. "Marvelous" Marv Throneberry (SSHS) played for the Mets.
