This is a photo of TERRY WILLIAMSON '51 when he was 20 years old, in the Army....stationed in Germany.

Terry attend "Faching", which he described as something similar to Mardi Gras.

I wish the picture was in color becasue Terry described the outfit he wore as....a colorful shirt, tied at the waist...a purple garter on one leg and a red one on the other with his LONGJOHNS tucked into some bright colored socks. He was the hit of the party of over 1000 people in a large arena in Hanua Germany. When someone asked him what he was going to wear to the next one, he said he would probably go naked. Hold your breath for that picture....*grin*

There's another one coming with Terry and another one of his friends...look for that soon.

Here's Terry and one of his friends, ready to leave for another "Faching" party.

They are both wearing their skin tight LONGJOHNS.....

I'm still waiting on the picture of them naked....

There is a mistake in the capiton of this photo as it appeared in the Commercial Appeal. The girl named Peggy Ann Jones, should be PATSY ANN JONES....from the class of 1959.

Fourth-graders at Lauderdale School were hard at work at their old-school desks Feb. 11, 1952, with plans for a spectacular Valentine's Day shindig in the works. The seated kids were making lacy Valentine cards, while those in line were depositing their finished cards in a pretty Valentine's box wielded by Miss Rose Albertine, the teacher.
